Organic Mixed Berry Short Stack Pancakes
This morning treat is not only pleasing to the eye, but it has become a family favorite.
Our daughter has really enjoyed helping mix the batter. Speaking of batter, it’s just box batter. Nothing special. I found a great organic mix so we are just finishing up the one we already had.
This post is to really exemplify how we are slightly organic. The mix was just normal off the shelf but, we topped it with fresh organic butter, and berries. Also added a teeny bit of powdered sugar and served with organic applewood bacon.
Pancakes cooking. Lots of bubbles on the top lets you know they’re almost ready to flip.
I tend to peek a lot at my pancakes because nobody likes a burnt flap jack.
These guys are about five inches in diameter.
Yum! Who doesn’t love bacon?
Finally this is our family meal prepared slightly organically with organic berries, organic bacon and butter butter, regular Pancake mix, powdered sugar and syrup.
I did just get an idea though, I think I’m going to make a reduced berry drizzle next time.
