DIY Poo Pourri Recipe with Pine Tree, Lemon and Lemongrass

Here’s a mystery: if bears poop in the woods, then why don’t the woods smell like bear poop? After all, when humans poop in a toilet, the toilet smells awful. Sure, maybe it’s because bears have better diets than we do. Maybe we should all just eat wild foraged berries. But it may also have something to do with the natural fragrances of the woods: pine trees, juniper bushes, and other fragrant plants that make the woods deliciously aromatic.

Now you can bring the woods home with this nifty Pine Tree Citrus DIY Poo Pourri. Now, when you poop in the toilet, it will be just like a bear pooping in the woods – you’ll smell the woods, not the poop!  Never be embarrassed again about how your poop smells. It’s nobody’s business, anyway, what your business smells like, so why should they be able to smell it?

The Recipe for Pine Tree Citrus DIY Poo Pourri

Here’s what you need:

• 20 drops Pine Needle essential oil
• 10 drops Lemongrass essential oil
• 10 drops Lemon essential oil
• 2 teaspoons rubbing alcohol
• 2 teaspoons vegetable glycerin
• 1 small 4 ounce spray bottle

Distilled water

1. Add the essential oils to the bottom of the spray bottle. If you accidentally pour more in than the recipe calls for, don’t worry about it. Just don’t pour in less – you need these oils to trap the stinky smells!
2. Slowly add the rubbing alcohol and vegetable glycerin to the essential oil and swirl it gently to mix.
3. Fill the bottle the rest of the way up with distilled water. You can also use tap water, but we recommend distilled.
4. Replace the lid, shake vigorously, and spray away!

Step by Step instructions to making Pine Tree Citrus DIY Poo Pourri

Step 1 – Add 2 Teaspoons of Vegetable Glycerin

Step 2- Add 2 Teaspoons of Rubbing Alcohol

Step 3 – Carefully add your essential oils for the Pine Tree Citrus DIY Poo Pourri Recipe

• 20 drops Pine Needle essential oil
• 10 drops Lemongrass essential oil
• 10 drops Lemon essential oil

Step 4 – Slowly add 4-5 tbsp of Polysorbate 20

Step 5 – Fill the remainder of spray bottle with distilled water

How to Use It

Poo Pourri couldn’t be simpler to use. Just shake the bottle, spray it four or five times into the toilet bowl, and sit down and do your business. No one will be able to smell your poop – not even you!

How It Works

Poop spray works because it is made out of oils. The oils float on the surface of the water, creating a natural barrier between the air you breathe and the stinky stuff in the water. Instead of filling the bathroom with the smell of crap, you fill it with the fragrance of cedar and citrus. At home, leave it on the back of the toilet for guests to use too.
